Setup of HP Envy 4520 

 • The network SSID and WEP/WPA passphrase is to be noted down firstly. 

• If you already have your printer connected to the computer, disconnect it. 

• Ensure to connect your computer to the network to which you wish to connect the 123.hp.com/envy4520 printer. 

• Turn up the Envy 4520 printer and wait until it’s idle. Disconnect any USB or Ethernet cable from it. 

 • On the control panel, touch the wireless. The printer will then display the wireless screen. 

• From the settings menu, select HP 4520 setup wizard. The printer will start its search for networks. 

• From the displayed list of available networks, choose your network SSID, Then select OK. 

• Follow the prompts to complete the setup. 

• If prompted, provide the WPA/WEP. 

• Now, using the installation disc, Install the printer driver, or just download the driver. When asked, choose the wireless connection type and proceed with pursuing the displayed prompts on the installer screen for finalizing the 123.hp.com/setup 4520


CONNECTING HP ENVY 4520 TO WIFI 

• Disconnect any USB or Ethernet from the printer. 

• Turn on the router and ensure that the network is stable. 

• Turn up the Envy 4520 printer and wait till it makes no noise. 

• Press the wireless icon on the control panel and choose the wireless settings option. 

• Select wi-fi Protected Setup and choose the Push button or PIN method. Select OK. 

• On the router, press the WPS button within 2 minutes if the Push button option has been chosen. The printer after recognising the network will get connected to it. 

• If the PIN method has been chosen, note the displayed PIN on the control panel of the printer and type it on your router within 4 minutes. 

CONNECTING HP ENVY 4520 TO A LAPTOP 

• Using the Wireless Setup wizard, Connect the printer to the wireless network. 

• On your Windows, click start -> control panel. 

• Click on the Devices and Printers folder, then choose Add Printer. 

• Select the option - Add a network -> Bluetooth or wireless Printer option. 

• From the displayed list of printers, select your network printer. 

 • Till the driver is installed automatically, keep following the prompts. If using a Mac, go to the Apple menu and select the system preferences. 

• Click on the Print and Scan option-> ADD button -> the Printer’s name. 

 • Choose the Download and Install option for getting the Printer driver and software and then attempt to print
